WOW! What a bogeytastic couple of months it's been! Since the icky, sticky and nose-picky adventure, Robo-Snot hit the shelves, there's been lots to tell you about. Kicking things off, two lucky winners received their very own signed copies in a Facebook and Twitter giveaway. Entries for a Scholastic UK Design-a-Robot competition have been pouring in and author Amy Sparkes and I are standing by to choose the most snottiest, winning design. World Book Day held an Email-to-WIN competition, BBC Radio 6 DJ, Steve Lamacq kindly mentioned Robo-Snot as part of the Love To Read campaign and a mini book signing was organised at Waterstones Roman Gate, Exeter. BIG thanks to John the manager!
Early November saw Amy and I being invited along to Bickleigh On Exe Church Of England Primary School for a school visit bursting with ooey, gooey goodness. It was a live reading, drawing and singing 'snot-fest'. Singing, I hear you cry?!?! Yes, I've written a new Robo-Snot Song and the children at Bickleigh loved it! So watch this space;)
Finally, Robo-Snot T-Shirts have been printed. BIG thanks to Watteva Ltd for doing such a great job! Amy and I can't wait to proudly show them off during a forthcoming Waterstones appearance as part of an Exeter 'Late Night' Christmas Shopping event. Maybe see ya there!
